WGAF March/April Updates

Hello Friends,

As each of you are aware, the virus COVID-19 has been in the news, media, and now our every day living. This is something we are taking seriously as well. We want each of you to be safe during this time.  Please check out https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html for information pertaining to this disease, and how to keep you and your family safe.

Some ways, as listed by CDC, to keep you and others healthier are to wash your hands, keeping a social distance, and, if you are in a county that is declared a shelter at home, then only leave the home for essentials, emergency care, doctor visits, etc. Please click here for more information from the CDC.

With the adjustments each of us are having to make, it can have a huge impact on our Autism community. Autism Speaks has some great resources and information HERE.

Also, with public schools being closed at this time, here are some helpful free resources if your kids need extra help or an extra learning boost:

Also, you can still support WGAF while shopping online for essential items, or other items needed:

  1. Add WGAF to your  Kroger Rewards’ card, where they will donate a percentage of sales to West Georgia Autism Foundation. Visit http://www.kroger.com/ Once logged into your Kroger account, simply search for West Georgia Autism Foundation. Inc either by name or MU324. If you do not have a Kroger account, you can create one for free. Kroger will send you coupons, plus you can earn Fuel Points for discounts on fuel purchases. Please sign up and share with your family and friends.

  2.  If you plan to shop at Amazon, please consider shopping through Amazon Smile. They will donate a portion of each purchase to the West Georgia Autism Foundation. Simply go to smile.amazon.com, and type “West Georgia Autism Foundation” under charities. In order for WGAF to receive the donation, you must shop through Amazon Smile, not the Amazon website.

If you would like to make a donation, please use our PayPal link where you can make donations towards the West Georgia Autism Foundation. It is also on our website under “Donate” or simply clicking here: http://www.wgaautism.org/donate/  or if you prefer the direct PayPal link, here it is: https://www.paypal.me/WestGaAutism

Please stay safe!
